Bank of Baroda should initiate process of merging nearby small branches of erstwhile Dena Bank and Vijaya Bank into the nearing bigger branch after merger on 01.04.2019 for a drastic cut in useless overheads, rent, salaries and other expenses. Surplus staff available after reduction of number of branches should be better utilised for unique seven-day per week working without any weekly or public holiday by providing two weekly-offs by rotation or by mutual consent amongst employees with bank-services taken as essential services like air, road or rail travel.
