Following are the factors which i feel have eroded unity of our hindu
brothers and sisters.
1. Invasions and introduction of alien cultures
2. Large scale forcible conversions to other religions also monitory benefits due availability of large finances with foreign missionaries to convert the poor among we hindus
3. Creation of different opinions among different people due misplaced loyalities towards invaders in past
4. Superiority or Inferiority complex among different cast hindus due their traditional professions and this phenmenon was encouraged by invaders with a mind set that some professions are inferior
5 Unjustified Reservation policies in the constitution of our nation
6 Nepotism based on cast and creed at all levels of governance
7 Unawareness among our people about real national heroes
8 Inadequate knowledge about our cultural inheritance our ancestors and origin of our religious belief systems Our ancient languages ( due teaching of distorted form of history written by some historians due vested intetests)
9 Political interests of some of our leaders
Due these reasons whenever a hindu of one cast community or a region suffers, blood of remaining hindus never ever boil. They may even try to silence the voices seeking justice from agrieved hindus. Behavior of our people towards uprooted kashmiri hindus is a burning example.
South indian hindu may not like north indian hindu West may not like east and vice versa.
Brahmin may not like kshatriya and vaishya may not like brahmin kshatriya Shudra and. So on
They may all consider themselves superior to others.
Biggest damage to hindu unity was done by the political leadership of post partitioned India.
