Discontinue minting of two-rupee coins at least till old same-sized one-rupee coins disappear from circulation

Even though later-introduced smaller-sized coins in denominations of rupees one and two were introduced several years back, yet old one-rupee coins exactly in same size of later introduced two-rupee coins are still in circulation in large quantity. Fact is that old one-rupee coins outnumber later introduced smaller-sized one-rupee coins. But number of old bigger-sized two-rupee coins has diluted very much in circulation in comparison to later introduced smaller-sized two-rupee coins. Central Board of Direct Taxes (CBDT) deserves compliments for motivating Income-Tax payers by sending Certificates of Appreciation to those contributing appreciably through tax-payment. But these certificates should be sent within say a fortnight of final assessment. Moreover sending the attractive colourful certificate only through e-mail is not sufficient, because very few Income Tax payers have facility of colour-printers. It refers to media-reports (TOI 04.10.2019) mentioning that as many as five judges of Supreme Court recused themselves from hearing a case. Recusal by judges from cases is not uncommon. Earlier also a Supreme Court judge recused himself from the bench hearing an appeal challenging closure of politically sensitive Bofors case.
