Mockery of Constitution continues on Constitution-Day in Maharashtra

While India is celebrating Constitution-Day on 26th November, politicians and constitutional authorities are continuing to make mockery of Constitution now in Maharashtra like has been done in so many states for last about half-a century from when alliance-politics started in 1967. UPA blaming role of Maharashtra governor, forgot role of governors like Romesh Bhandari in their regime. Bitter fact remains that Speakers and state-Governors usually dance to tunes of their political mentors to become a part of unholy politics involving heavy money-power. Only and best remedy is to eliminate altogether role of Speakers and Governors in making and breaking of governments.

Chief Minister should be simultaneously elected with Speaker and Deputy Speaker by secret and compulsory vote through EVMs equipped with VVPAT on nominations signed by at least 34-percent members with abstaining members losing right to vote in the House though retaining membership. Such elected incumbents may be removed through same process but with compulsion to name alternate leader in the same motion. Only such a system can pave for simultaneous elections for Lok Sabha and all state-assemblies when concept of hung-assemblies and mid-term elections will altogether be abolished.
