A handful elites lost power in India in 2014. In 2019, they are trying to do whatever it takes to get it back

Stop confusing disloyalty with dissent!!

No this isn’t misquoting Edward R Murrow’s iconic “Good night and good luck “speech. And god knows, on our side of the aisle, I am amongst the least trigger happy people to use words like traitors/anti-national/ gaddar etc, but a line was crossed, twice, in last two days and that must not go unchallenged.

First, yesterday, the entire mainstream media contingent went completely cuckoo when the puppet pm of our rogue neighbor announced that the captured Indian pilot Wing Commander Abhinandan will be released tomorrow. The Indian elite msm was hailing the puppet PM for his statesmanship and peacefulness like a terrorist organization harbored by his government didn’t murder 44 of our brave CRPF men two weeks ago!

Praising Pak in this context essentially meant the deaths of the CRPF Jawans didn’t matter. One pilot released, more due to lack of option than any real magnanimity of heart, was all it took for India’s rich, elite journalists to forget about those men blown to bits by JeM suicide bomber. Now that Pak army has made a highly objectionable video of WC Abhinandan, clearly forcing him to speak under duress, it will be interesting to see how many of the puppet PM Fanboys and girls condemn this contravention of Geneva Convention.

And then today at some dog and pony show organized by the same ruling elites, Ravish Kumar, he of the कौन जात हो infamy, appealed to the armed forces and I quote “I’m asking the excellent officers of the army – you are the strongest pillars of our democracy. Don’t give the use of your experience and knowledge to these monkeys and help them to destroy democracy.”

This is where we are folks, these are the people we are dealing with. The world is yet to see one country that didn’t descend into anarchy, violence and civil war when the rogue army overthrew a democratic government and still these traitors (yes I called them that!) will prefer an army coup to their ideological opponent ruling the country democratically.

This can’t continue folks!! This mad, vicious thirst for power in a handful of elites, this will be our undoing. We cannot have a discourse where those disagree with you blithely praise the puppet PM of a rogue neighbor just to get back at Modi and journalists ask the army to take matters into their hands. Inciting rogue neighbors and prospecting for rogues within armed forces isn’t free speech. Choosing foreign subjugation or authoritarian regimes over your political opponent isn’t dissent; it is disloyalty- plain and simple. And we the people have a say in it because this affects us. The elites in a few European countries sided with Hitler and the bill for that was paid by the masses of an entire continent. And when you are dealing with despots and religious zealots, the bill always comes, sooner rather than later.

Since 2014, the msm elites were laying groundwork by dissing democratic verdicts, by making majoritarianism as the dirtiest word of them all and by constantly painting Hindus as lynching, church burning, and sword wielding savages. When a Kashmiri journalist was murdered by Jihadis, Barkha Dutt’s editorial targeted the nationalists and Hindus. As election approaches and the realization that a loss in 2019 means a permanent loss of power, India’s msm elites have now shown the extent to which they are willing to go. And if the only way to achieve that is by permanent destruction of the fabric of the nation…. Well it won’t be the 1st time rich jerks have wrecked destruction all around them in an ill thought hissy fit.

In this situation , I think I speak for all Indians when I say we have been extraordinarily blessed to have an armed force who is as professional as it is apolitical, their valor in the battlefield only matched by their nobility off it. These brave men and women, in sharp contradistinction with the elites, will stand guard over our civil liberties, for no higher reward than the adherence to higher principle.

Eternal vigilance is the price of our liberty. You have been warned!! Jai Hind!! Mayuresh Didolkar
