Long summer vacations in courts were designed by erstwhile British rulers to save British judges in India from severe hot weather of this country and also to facilitate them to visit their homeland in England. This costly facility unfortunately continues in free India even after seventy years of independence, that too with long pendency of court-cases. Long-pending recommendation of Law Commission for scrapping long court-vacations, are being ignored. Union Ministry of Law and Justice should immediately scarp any privileged vacations for courts ensuring a common pattern of holidays from Supreme Court to lower courts. Some protestors are on indefinite sit-up (dharna) blocking the important link-road connecting Delhi and Noida through this route. But High Courts located in these cities are still officially named after old names of these cities. System should be that names of High Courts may get auto-changed with change in names of cities. निर्भया के साथ बलात्कार और फिर उसकी हत्या करने वाले चारों गुनाहगारों को आगामी 22 जनवरी को फांसी की सजा दे दी जाएगी। फांसी का समय सुबह 7 बजेरहेगा। पर इस भयानक केस से जुड़ा एक नाबालिग दोषी  के खिलाफ कोई एक्शन नहीं होगा। खैऱ, आखिरकार, इस तरह 7 साल 37 दिन के बाद ही सही निर्भया कोइंसाफ मिलेगा। यह घटना इतनी दिल दहला देने वाली थी कि आम आदमी उस हालात की कल्पना तक नहीं कर सकता था जिन हालातों में उसे इलाज के लिएअस्पताल में लाया गया था। उसे देख कर उसका इलाज करने वाले डॉक्टरों तक के रोंगटे खड़े हो गए थे। इस बेटी का नाम रखा था “निर्भया” और यह घटना घटितहुई थी दक्षिण दिल्ली के एक बस स्टॉप के पास। यह क्रूर हादसा 16 दिसम्बर की रात साल 2012 में हुआ था। पर बलात्कार की शिकार हुई हजारों अन्य महिलाओं को इंसाफ कब मिलेगा इसका जवाब किसी के पास नहीं है। यही ढीलापन की  स्थिति तो बलात्कारियों के हौंसलेबुलंद करती हैं।...
