It refers to highly irresponsible Guidelines No. J-24-9-2014-CPU(pt.) dated 21.04.2017 issued by Department of Consumer Affairs (Government of India) wherein consumers going to hotels and restaurants for enjoying food are advised to approach Consumer Disputes Redressal Forum against malpractice of certain restaurants and hotels charging compulsory service-charge in their invoices instead of the Department imposing ban on such levying of service-charges or even providing column for tip. It refers to shocking media-report about Jail Superintendent of Tihar Jail (Delhi) giving notice dated 29.10.2019 to convicts of infamous 16-12 Nirbhaya-murder episode intimating that only seven days are left to file mercy-petition before President of India as the very last opportunity to avoid possible hanging till death. All the convicts have availed sufficient legal defense during various court-stages, and their advocates were very well aware of all possible remedies including filing mercy-petition and stipulated last date for doing so. Delhi Government has once again implemented Odd-Even for cars in Delhi from 04.11.2019 to 15.11.2019 completely overlooking working senior citizens having driver-driven cars who cannot bear crowded metro or bus service with auto-rickshaws over-charging that too refusing to go to desired destinations like even to Delhi Secretariat which is not connected with adequate DTC bus-service despite repeated requests and not at all connected with metro-service. Evidently working-efficiency as a whole will be badly affected during Odd-Even days for moving cars. Odd-Even formula on foreign-pattern in Delhi cares more for traffic-congestion rather than pollution. If the system is indeed found necessary, then it should be permanent for all the year round to tackle ever-increasing congestion on roads....

भारत सरकार ने 4 नवम्‍बर, 2019 की सुबह म्‍यांमार के रखाइन सूबे में समय पर हस्‍तक्षेप कर अराकान आर्मी द्वारा अगवा किए गए पांच भारतीय नागरिकों , म्‍यांमार की संसद के एक सदस्‍य और म्‍यांमार के चार नागरिकों को मुक्‍त करा लिया। इन पांचों भारतीय नागरिकों, म्‍यांमार की संसद के एक सदस्‍य और दो स्‍थानीय ट्रांसपोर्टर्स तथा दो स्‍पीड ऑपरेटर्स को 3 नवम्‍बर को म्‍यांमार के चिन स्‍टेट के पालेत्‍वा से रखाइन सूबे के किऑकताव जाते समय अराकान आर्मी ने अगवा कर लिया था। अपहृत भारतीय नागरिक वर्तमान में म्‍यांमार की कलादान सड़क परियोजना के निर्माण से संबद्ध हैं। एक भारतीय नागरिक का अराकान आर्मी के कब्‍जे में होने के दौरान दिल का दौरा पड़ने से निधन हो गया। प्राप्‍त सूचना के अनुसार वह मधुमेह से पीडि़त था। अपहणकर्ताओं से चंगुल से मुक्‍त कराए गए भारतीय नागरिक, मृतक के पार्थिव शरीर सहित सित्‍वे पहुंच चुके है...
