Central government deserves compliments for taking bold decision freeing 450-strong force of professionally trained Black Cat Commandos from VIP securityproviding proximate and mobile security cover commandos armed with sophisticated assault weapons under the top Z-plus category to thirteen high-risk VIPs that entails about two dozen personnel for each one of them. Use of Black Cat Commando force created in the year 1984 was never meant to be used as VIP security-cover, and was rather created for meeting sudden critical situations. Traffic-movement on road-number 13A between Mathura Road and Kalindi Kunj in New Delhi is closed since 16.12.2019 after violent protests in the area and its surroundings after violent anti-CAA protests in the area including at Jamia Milia University. Some protestors are on indefinite sit-up (dharna) blocking the important link-road connecting Delhi and Noida through this route. Delhi Police instead of eviction of area from the protestors, is said to have put road-blocks as a precautionary measure causing great inconvenience to residents of the area including school-children who now have to take much bigger route to reach the destination. It is indeed regretful that Delhi Police is being unnecessarily targeted for death of three boys killed near Turkman Gate in Delhi on night of 30.11.2019 when their speeding bike hit a pole during their joy-ride. It is significant that the three boys broke all traffic-rules by having three riders on a bike that too all without helmets and overspeed. It may also be possible that the killed boys might have been minors. Fault lied with parents of the three killed boys who did not care to control their children for such unlawful scooter-ride.
