It is our contention that political parties that don’t have an adequate representation of women within their organization are not truly representative of our democracy. Moreover, it is incumbent on all who are in a position of responsibility to create a just social order. It refers to Election Commission on 01.04.2019 complaining against Rajasthan Governor Kalyansingh for his political statement made on 23.03.2019 wherein he advocated present Prime Minister to continue even after forthcoming Lok Sabha polls. It is quite usual that political persons appointed as state Governors give such political statements like earlier done by present Madhya Pradesh Governor in April 2018. Subsidy for LPG is for families having combined income of rupees ten lakhs per annum with central government appealing those above the stipulated income-limit to voluntarily surrender subsidy. But instead of expecting voluntary surrender, Union Petroleum Ministry should ask to submit affidavits regarding total family-income to avail subsidy. This will drastically reduce LPG subsidy-burden on the exchequer because those not having voluntarily surrendered subsidy will then avoid filing wrong affidavits to get subsidy. But the sub-judice matter is about making availability of land for a grand Ram-temple at birth-place of Lord Rama, and not on worshipping the existing deity. It refers to ever-controversial Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU) at Delhi once again in news on 25.03.2019 with several students entering house of Vice Chancellor where his wife lonely in the home had to be hospitalized because of mental trauma caused by forced entry of agitating students. Earlier also such an unhumanitarian act on 15.02.2018 made certain officials of the University sick being required to be even hospitalized. Demand of students against enforcing rules is ingenuine. Universities should be for education and not for playing politics.
