Award-money over match-money with hefty salary to cricketers on series-win over Australia

Award-money over match-money with hefty salary to cricketers on series-win over Australia

समाचार
Board for Control of Cricket in India BCCI has announced award-money of rupees fifteen lakhs extra as award money in addition to equal amount of match-money to each of the cricketers having played in recently concluded series with Australia where India won the series. All this is in addition to a very hefty annual salary-package of upto rupees seven crores per cricketer and life-time heavy pension after their retirement from cricket paid by BCCI. It is absolutely unfair to create such a class-distinction in society where cricketers earning otherwise also through their costly appearance in advertisements and business-income are paid so heavily from BCCI funded through public-craze where cricket has become religion for people. There should be an upper-limit of salary-package for BCCI whic...

Railway Minister should stop dreaming about ‘No tipping’ theory in trains

समाचार
It refers to Railway Minister having sweet dreams of No-Tip era in trains with his announcement of some steps to prevent over-charging of food like free food-supply in case no bill is given. But in practice, all this is not at all practical. Only and best remedy is to replace food-serving by sale of packaged food by giving some nominal sale-commission to serving railway-staff. It is indeed very insulting that railway-staff towards end of journey start begging for tips even from foreign tourists which harms image of nation. It is beyond understanding how dream-steps of Railways can practically check begging tips by railway-staff that too at a time when even Union Ministry of Consumer Affairs legalizes tips by allowing service-charge levied in restaurant-bills. Scope of Indian Railway Cat...

It refers to media-reports about MP Chief Minister Kamal Nath providing government-bungalows to former Chief Ministers Digivijay Singh (Congress) and Shivraj Singh Chauhan (BJP) in Bhopal. Earlier recently retired Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chauhan subsequent to an order of MP High Court following Supreme Court verdict of 07.05.2018 misused his discretionary power of allotting government-bungalows to former BJP Chief Ministers Uma Bharti, Babulal Gaur, Kailash Joshi but not to Divijay Singh of Congress. Chief Minister Kamal Nath in a bid to exhibit unbiased politics has provided government-bungalow simultaneously to his BJP predecessor Shivraj Singh Chauhan also, in order to provide one to Digvijay Singh of his own party Congress. Delhi Journalists Association (DJA), affiliated to the National Union of Journalist (India) is not amused at the use of adjective ‘pliable’ by Indian National Congress President Rahul Gandhi for the ANI interviewer who conducted a wide-ranging and long interview with Prime Minister Narendra Modi. In a joint statement issued today, DJA president Manohar Singh and General Secretary Pramod Kumar said badmouthing a journalist simply because she conducted an interview with a rival political leader is in poor taste and amounts to shooting the messenger; it’s unwarranted and unbecoming of a senior leader of a national political party. The DJA is of the opinion that journalists have a professional responsibility to seek information, ask questions and get answers. “All journalists everywhere kno...

“New Look” Vande Matram to be introduced in Madhya Pradesh

It refers to Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Kamal Nath doing away with practice of singing Vande Matram at Secretariat building on every first day of the month, later clarifying subsequent to strong criticism that some new-look Vande Matram would be soon introduced. Big question is that now pseudo-secular politics will be revived to the extent that originality of national song will be changed according to political requirement of state-government. Even if new-look Vande Matram is to be introduced, then it should have been one on 01.01.2019 itself rather than deferring it for some future date which may or may not come. State-governor should summon Chief Minister on the big question hurting patriotic and nationalistic sentiments of most people of the states. MADHU AGRAWAL

Intelligence Bureau should probe if women in menstrual age entering Sabrimala Temple on 02.01.2019 had real religious feelings or did so to deliberately hurt sentiments of Hindus Proverb Law-is-Blind proves totally fit on unpractical Supreme Court verdict allowing women of menstrual age in Sabrimala Temple in Kerala, causing unnecessary problem of law and order in approach-way to the temple and hurting practical religious sentiments of majority community including women in menstrual age. However it is for sure that the verdict never allowed its symbolic implementation by non-religious ladies not for faith, but to deliberately hurt religious sentiments on an aspect where tradition was set on practical aspects but not at all as gender-discrimination. Intelligence Bureau should probe if...

It refers to the film Accidental-Prime-Minister released on 28.12.2018. The film based on the book by Sanjay Baru, media-advisor to the then Prime Minister Dr Manmohansingh has caused waves of embarrassment in Congress party for obvious reasons confusing everyone in the party whether to demand ban on the film or not. Any such demand to ban would have been considered as attack on freedom of expression. Damage-control exercise of Congress President by giving special honour of symbolic cake-cutting to Dr Manmohansingh on occasion of Foundation-Day of oldest political party with Congress President seen helping him, and confusing talks by party-cadre for demand to ban of the film bounced back giving extra publicity to the film which is said to have projected Dr Manmohansingh having acted on ...

Prime Minister Narender Modi has on 24.12.2018 released silver-alloy coin of face-value of rupees 100 in memory of late Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee. But the coin is not available for general public on face-value like were made available only on three occasions firstly in the year 1969 (Mohandas Karamchand Gandhi), then in the year 1970 (Food For All) and finally in the year 1972 (Independence Jubilee) for rupees 10 each with 80-percent silver-content. But practice of issuing silver-alloy coins on face-value was later discontinued because value of silver-content exceeded much more than the face-value presently about rupees 700 in a coin. Evidently silver-alloy coins cannot be practically issued on face-value like of rupees 100. Union Finance Ministry, Reserve Bank of India RBI, Se...
