Presently Postal-Department issues computer-printed receipts where the portion used by Postal-Department has sticker while the portion given to consumer is without sticker. Postal-Department for convenience of users of postal-services should have sticker also in the portion given to the consumers so that they may not require gum at their end to affix it on their despatch-registers or documents. It will be benefit to public-exchequer by avoiding man-hours and gum to paste postal cash-receipts on their despatch-registers. Postal-Department will not be burdened extra because even presently one of the dual-portion of same cash-receipt still has sticker on back for the portion kept by Department of Posts itself. Suggestions for Union Budget 2021-22 – Postal tariffs need total overhaul

Postal-tariffs have not been revised for last so many years resulting in undesired loss to public-exchequer due to negligible tariff like of 25 or 50 paise still prevailing even though coins in denominations less than rupee one are no more in circulation. Minimum postal-tariff for registered newspapers and ordinary post-cards should be rupee one with these post-cards fetching additional revenue through advertisements printed on postcards. Outdated Inland Letter Cards having lost utility should be discontinued. Thereafter all postal-tariffs (inland and international) should be in multiples of rupees ten. Printed or rubber-stamped post-cards and ordinary mail should have tariff of rupees ten with weight-slabs for mail-articles fixed in multiples of 50 gms rather than of 20 gms at present....
