There are extra long queues of visitors first outside the gate for purchasing entry-tickets, at entry gates, and thereafter there are very long queues outside pavilions of participants. Most visitors especially children, youngsters and students want to visit as many pavilions as possible. But in such short duration with heavy rush of people on each day, it is absolutely impossible that a desiring person may be able to visit all the pavilions even if he or she visits IITF on all the days. Rather such a heavy rush prevents many desiring ones to visit IITF even for one single day.

Otherwise also participants including public-authorities comprising of states, ministries and other government-departments spend heavily for participating in IITF. Increasing number of days and daily timings will scatter the rush allowing people to enjoy the fair in a more useful manner, apart from utilizing funds spent on the fair more appropriately. Fair should be for at least 30 days with stretched timings till say 10 pm on every day if not till midnight. It is noteworthy that despite manifold increase in population of Delhi including the floating population increased during IITF, the fair now being in continuance for last 39 years has been restricted to same limited space for limited days.

Overseas participants if not willing to participate for 30 days, can pack up in 14 days. But information about their early packing should be prominently publicized including with entry-tickets so that desiring visitors may visit such pavilions before their pack-up.
