Indian politicians should follow American rulers during tenures and retirements

Recently retired American Vice President Joe Biden should be role-model for Indian politicians. There was an occasion when Joe Biden during his tenure as American Vice president even thought of selling his house to meet medical-expenses of his young son Beau fighting with cancer (who unfortunately later died). It was greatness of the then American President Barrack Obama who assisted him, rather than using public-funds for personal needs. Joe Biden during his long career as Senator from the year 1973 never claimed a single penny from public-exchequer.

Other great examples are retired American Presidents who spend their lives like ordinary American citizens in their private residences without any government-provided facilities including status-symbol of security. Recently retired American President Barrack Obama was always seen behaving like an ordinary citizen during his vacations like standing in queues at restaurants and grocery-shops. He used to hold his umbrella, and even seen escorting his staff on alighting from the helicopter when it was raining. After retirement, he has shifted to a small rented accommodation built in the year 1928.

World’s largest democracy of India should follow world’s oldest democracy of America in snatching all princely facilities available to political rulers at least after retirement. Then only they can realize practical problems of day-to-day life of common citizens ruled by them.
