National Consumer Helpline acting like post-office is waste of public-money

I lodged a complaint-number 2263884 on 22.09.2020 on portal of National Consumer Helpline about a company registered with the portal for its not sending a duly filled 3-year maintenance-contract for my refrigerator after my giving the required cheque in name of the company on 05.08.2020 which was cleared from my bank on 25.08.2020. I sent an email to the Company on 16.09.2020 on its email ID apart from lodging request on portal Facebook-page of the Company.

A company-representative on 17.09.2020 fulfilled formality of emailing a 3-year maintenance contract but without mentioning any detail of the refrigerator leaving the columns in the improperly filled maintenance-contract blank. On my taking up the matter, the calling company-representative requested me to send photos of sticker on refrigerator carrying model and chassis-number etc which were immediately e-mailed despite the fact that same were written on back of the cheque given towards maintenance-contract as required by company-representative.

On my calling National Consumer Helpline on 09.10.2020, attending counsellor very rudely and uncordially told me to approach consumer-court in case I could not wait for 60 days further telling that even thereafter I will have to go through cumbersome procedure of consumer court in case problem is not solved. Having a super-costly and absolutely useless National Consumer Helpline is a waste of public-money if consumers have to adopt costly and cumbersome procedure of consumer-court without finality of resolution of lodged complaint. Companies not coming to finality of complaints lodged with National Consumer Helpline within 15 days should be black-listed with their names made public for knowledge of public.

Strict-most action should be taken against the company, concerned company-representative having sent incomplete maintenance-contract and the counsellor at National Consumer Helpline having attended the call on 09.10.2020, ensuring urgent-most resolution of complaint-number 2263884.
