Politics in agitation of farmers exposes many

On-going agitation in and on borders of Delhi by farmers of Punjab against three agricultural bills passed by the Parliament has exposed self-interest of politicians. It is beyond understanding why Delhi government allowed entry to so many agitators while people were not allowed (and rightly too) to their religious and cultural festivals like Ramlila and Chhat Puja because of corona-guidelines. It is significant that agitation is only limited by farmers or others from Punjab rather than from whole country where there are reports that middle-men in agricultural markets are mainly politicians of Punjab cutting across party-lines.

Legislated bills in no way harms farmers. However if some corporate-groups get advantage of the passed bills as by-product, then it should not be objected because doing business and earning money is not a crime till it is done in an unethical manner. Legislated agricultural bills can create a healthy situation like milk where tankers of various milk-proving companies including like Mother Dairy and Amul collect milk by going to collecting centers near villages giving fair price of milk is provided to farmers and villagers having cows and buffaloes to sell milk for livelihood.

Central government should present a factual study-based reports where agitator middle-men in name of farmers will be exposed because it is noticed that farmers get very low percent of money for their produce in the net retail sale of agricultural products.
