
Non-vegetarian food discontinued from domestic flights of Air India: Why serving even vegetarian food when other airliners have discontinued as cost-cutting measur
Air India has further stepped towards cost-cutting by now discontinuing serving non-vegetarian food in its domestic flights, after earlier it announced discontinuing salad from food served in economy class of international flights. Since all airliners except Jet Airways and Air India have discontinued serving free food on their domestic flights, it should also follow the same for further cost-cutting. It can even follow Indian Railways by charging cost of earphones from passengers desiring to use TV-screens on seat-backs in domestic flights of Air India.
However it is senseless to expect sharing of its in-flight magazines by three passengers in a row, when the public-sector airliner decided to put just one copy of the magazine to be shared by three passengers in a row. In case cost...
