Ltd. with effect from November 29,I am transported back to 1984. Those were the days when India was still many years away from the din of private TV channels. Nobody knew that something like Twitter, Facebook and other social media platforms would invade our world soon. Telecom revolution too was far away. Those days I was a student of Delhi University and during the summer vacation, I was working in a huge TV showroom of my friend’s family in the then Archana Cinema shopping arcade in Greater Kailash-part I. सेमीकंडक्टर चिप  50 वर्ष पूर्व सेमीकंडक्टर चिप (कंप्यूटर, सेल फ़ोन, फ़्लैश ड्राइव इत्यादि में लगने वाली चिप) बनाने के लिए सिलिकॉन वेफर (पापड़ से कई गुना पतली प्लेट) पर कुछ विशेष रसायन की एक पतली फिल्म छिडकी जाती थी और फिर उस पर एक मास्क एवं लेंस के माध्यम से साधारण प्रकाश स्रोत डाला जाता था। वेफर के जिस भाग पर प्रकाश पुंज पड़ता था, वहां मास्क पर बना पैटर्न रसायन पर छप जाता था। ठीक वैसे ही जैसे एक समय नेगेटिव से फोटो डेवेलप की जाती थी। इस पैटर्न, जिस पर विद्युत् प्रवाह हो सकती थी, पर किसी आभूषण में जड़े हीरे के सामान ट्रांजिस्टर बैठा दिए जाते थे। इसे इंटीग्रेटेड सर्किट का नाम दिया गया जिसे चिप भी कहा जाता है। ट्रांजिस्टर की विशेषता यह है कि इन्हे विदूयत प्रवाह के द्वारा ऑन-ऑफ किया जा सकता है जो कंप्यूटर की भाषा भी है। अंक 1 - ऑन; अंक 0 - ऑफ। 1,0,1,0 … सभी सॉफ्टवेयर कोड इन्...
