Huge balance is lying in inoperative accounts in banks with even many account-holders having forgotten about their bank-accounts. Reserve Bank of India (RBI) has introduced Know-Your-Customer (KYC) forms which has been made mandatory also for closing such inoperative accounts. Such cumbersome practice not only is causing difficulty to account-holders wishing to close their inoperative accounts, but also creating a big loss of man-hours of bank-employees apart from unnecessary data-entries and record-keeping. देश की प्रति व्यक्ति आय मार्च 2019 को समाप्त वित्त वर्ष में 10 प्रतिशत बढ़कर 10,534 रुपये महीना पहुंच जाने का अनुमान है। इससे पहले वित्त वर्ष 2017-18 में मासिक प्रति व्यक्ति आय 9,580 रुपये थी। प्रति व्यक्ति औसत आय का बढ़ना देश की समृद्धि का स्वाभाविक संकेत है। आम आदमी की औसत आय का बढ़ना हो या देश अरबपतियों-करोडपतियों की संख्या का बढ़ना है, इन स्थितियों के बीच ऐयाशी, प्रदर्शन एवं वैभवता के अतिशयोक्तिपूर्ण खर्च की विकृत मानसिकता का पनपना नैतिक एवं चारित्रिक गिरावट कारण भी बन रही है। समस्या दरअसल गरीबी को समाप्त करने की उतनी नहीं, जितनी कि संतुलित समाज रचना को निर्मित करने की है। अमीरी का बढ़ना भी समस्या बन रहा तो गरीबी भी बड़ी समस्या है। यदि समय रहते समुचित कदम नहीं उठाए गए तो विषमता की यह खाई और चैड़ी हो सकती है और उससे राजनैतिक व सामाजिक टकराव की नौबत आ सकती है। भारत के अमीर और ज्यादा अमीर होते ...
