On-going agitation in and on borders of Delhi by farmers of Punjab against three agricultural bills passed by the Parliament has exposed self-interest of politicians. It is beyond understanding why Delhi government allowed entry to so many agitators while people were not allowed (and rightly too) to their religious and cultural festivals like Ramlila and Chhat Puja because of corona-guidelines. It is significant that agitation is only limited by farmers or others from Punjab rather than from whole country where there are reports that middle-men in agricultural markets are mainly politicians of Punjab cutting across party-lines. Media has unnecessarily made mountain of a molehill on Gujarat University asking an RTI applicant to provide citizenship-proof. It is a court-ordered requirement verdict dated 02.11.2012 by Punjab and Haryana High Court in the matter -Fruit and Merchant Union vs Unknown (CWP No. 4787 of 2011)- (page 23) which should rather be followed by all public-authorities in Center and in states through notification to be issued by Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT). A hybrid seed is created by crossing two different varieties of the same plant. Hybrid seed is produced when the egg of female parent is fertilised with the pollen from another plant. In this process, it is particularly essential to ensure the genetic purity of the female parent. According to reports there has been a big saving of about 25-percent at Supreme Court every year where about 2.4 crore paper-sheets are likely to be saved ever since Chief Justice of India, known to be a nature-lover, in April 2020 directed using both sides of paper-sheet with abnormal legal-sized paper changed by normal A-4 size paper with 1.5 spacing.
